Analysis Paralysis Is Killing Your Momentum
Frazier's No B.S. Weekly Insights on Growth.
Always Forward
The speed of your decisions directly correlates to the speed of your growth.
There's a loan officer I know who's been "thinking about" starting a video series for eight months. Still researching equipment. Still planning content. Still waiting for the "perfect" moment to begin.
Meanwhile, another LO in the same market started posting videos six months ago with nothing but his phone. His content isn't perfect, but he's already generated 12 deals from it.
That is the difference between planning and profiting.
This market rewards decision speed. Slow decisions don't just delay your success; they guarantee your competitors get there first.
Word of the Day: Velocity
Speed Beats Perfect Every Time.
Most loan officers are stuck in "analysis paralysis," endlessly researching, planning, and preparing instead of actually doing. They convince themselves they're being thorough when they're really just comfortable staying put.
The market doesn't reward perfect decisions. It rewards fast ones.
How many opportunities have you missed because you took too long to decide? How many deals went to competitors who moved faster? How many strategies did you miss because you were still "thinking about it"?
Every day you don't decide is a day your competition gets ahead.
This doesn't mean being reckless. It means understanding that 80% certainty with immediate action beats 95% certainty with delayed action.
The fastest-growing loan officers I coach aren't the ones who make perfect decisions. They're the ones who make good decisions quickly, then adjust as they go.
They understand something most don’t: you can course-correct a moving ship, but you can't steer a parked car.
When you delay decisions, you're guaranteeing mediocrity. You're choosing the certainty of staying where you are over the uncertainty of growing where you could be.
Speed creates momentum. Momentum creates results. Results create confidence. Confidence creates more speed.
It's a cycle that starts with one thing: making decisions fast.

The Wrap
Always Forward, Never Back
While everyone else is stuck in neutral, waiting for "perfect,” you have the opportunity to gain a massive competitive advantage through decision velocity.
But here's the challenge: speed requires courage. This week, identify one decision you've been postponing and make it within 24 hours.
Stop waiting for perfect information. You'll never have it. Stop waiting for the perfect moment. It doesn't exist.
Make the decision with the information you have, then adjust as you learn.
Every day you delay is a day your goals get pushed further away, and that is not a recipe for success.
That’s it for this week.
Remember that speed beats perfect, movement beats planning, and done beats perfect.
Until next time, decide fast and always forward!
