Fear Is A Big Fat Liar
Frazier's No B.S. Weekly Insights

I am always looking at ways to create maximum impact with you, my audience. I know you have to decide what you will take time to consume, and more importantly, what content you want to sink in. Humans like patterns, but unfortunately, it is these patterns that hold us back.
I have created a new format for my No B.S. Weekly Insights, designed to be read in 1 minute and which will be broken out in three areas: The Lesson, Why It Matters, and the Action to Take.
I hope you enjoy the new format and that this message resonates!
This Week’s Spice:
Tuesday: The Call - 11:30am EST
Wednesday: Mortgage Mornings - 9am EST
Wednesday: AI For Loan Officers Summit
Podcasts: Growth Notes & The MLO Project
The Lesson
What I am about to say shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone. There are plenty of things that'll get in your way as a loan officer. The market shifts. Lender conditions. Referral source contraction. Competition. Tech changes. But none of those hold a candle to what stops a majority dead in their tracks: fear.
Not fear of some real danger. I'm talking about fear of failure. Fear of rejection. Fear of looking stupid when you put yourself out there. Fear of what other people might say about you.
Every single time you let fear win, your dream gets smaller. And fear? Fear is a straight-up liar. It tells you that you're not ready, not good enough, the risk is too big. But the reality is that the stuff you're scared of is rarely as bad as you think. And even when you mess up, that temporary defeat teaches you way more than playing it safe ever will.
Why It Matters
Most loan officers never actually test their limits. They stop before they even start. They let fear keep them comfortable, safe, and stuck. Years later, they realize it wasn't the market that held them back. It wasn't a lack of talent or connections or the myriad of B.S. excuses they told themselves. It was a lack of courage.
I have fear. You have fear. Everyone does. Anyone who says different is lying to you. The difference between those who grow and those who stay stuck? They decide to move forward anyway. Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's taking action in spite of it. That's where your breakthroughs live.
The Action to Take
I want you to get to the point that your default setting for any situation is to take action. Most just stop and stare. To disrupt your default, you need to address your fears head-on. You can start today by identifying one place where fear has been holding you back. Just one. Then take one small action in defiance of that fear. Not some massive leap. Just one small step.
Don't wait for the fear to disappear because it won't. You just get used to it. You move through it. You take action to break through it.
Fear kills dreams. Your courage will bring them back to life.
Have a great day, a great week, and remember…ALWAYS FORWARD.
