You Don't NEED Real Estate Agents to Get Business
Frazier's No B.S. Weekly Insights

I am going to mix it up this week, but this industry needs mixing up!
First, let me hit you with the linkage:
Podcasts: Growth Notes & The MLO Project
Tuesday: The Call - 11:30am EST
Wednesday: Mortgage Mornings - 9am EST
Ok, let’s get into the spice.
Look, I know this topic will get eye rolls from some and a massive disagreement from others, but it simply is the truth.
If your business’s success hangs on real estate agents sending you deals, you don't really have a sustainable strategy. You have a business built on dependency.
And I get it. We've all been taught the same playbook, from the dawn of time. Go chase agents. Take them to lunch. Buy them coffee. Pay for their marketing. Sponsor their events. Hope they remember you when their client needs a loan.
But what the old guard doesn’t tell you is that you’re building your business on someone else's foundation. And that foundation? It's shaky as hell.
I want you to marinate on this for a minute. You're dependent on how THEY run their business. You're at the mercy of how hard they work and whether they decide to show up this month or not. You're also hoping they don't get wooed by the next LO who shows up with new shiny objects and possibly a bigger checkbook.
Let’s look at the data. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) says the typical agent closes 10 transactions a year. TEN. So even if you're the agent's favorite lender, you're at below 1 loan per month.
And don’t get it twisted. I'm not saying don't work with agents. I'm saying don't be DEPENDENT on them.
There's a better way to roll.
This Wednesday on Mortgage Mornings, I'm bringing on one of my coaching members, Jeff Trevarthen. Jeff's built something that most loan officers think is impossible for them to do: a business that's 100% consumer direct.
No bought leads. No ads. Doesn't chase agents.
And his numbers? 88 loans for $24.3 million year to date.
His calendar is booked out two and a half weeks, where these people happily wait to talk to him.
We are going to show you exactly how he did it. How he attracts consumers directly. How he built a pipeline that HE controls. How he stopped depending on other people to feed him business.
If you're tired of hoping agents remember you, if you're sick of competing on who can buy the most coffee, if you want to actually OWN your business instead of renting it from agents, you need to be on this call.
Register Today: Wednesday. Mortgage Mornings. 9am EST.
I hope to see you on the calls this week, and until next week, Always Forward.
